1924 -- Broadway was paved for
the first time.
This picture was taken from the Second Street and Broadway intersection
while looking south down Broadway . Today's Antique Mall and General Store is
located in the second building from the right.
1909 -- 1926
The picture below is of the Winkelmeyer Furniture and Funeral Home
building when it was located on East Second Street. The original building has been
remodeled, and is still in use on East Second Street. In 1926 the Winkelmeyer
business was moved to Broadway and located in the second building from the right in the
above picture.
1892
The picture below is of the original John F. Roling Machine Shop.
It is the oldest business in Salisbury.

Salisbury Wabash Depot Built in 1904 and burnt in 1974. The
first railroad was built in 1869 and was known as The Chariton - Randolph Line.
1900 - White Bridge
The original wooden structure over the Wabash Railroad. This
bridge was replaced with a new bridge in August 1946.
