My Grandmother Laurine Doxey Winegar is related to Lucius Salisbury, I think a cousin. My Dad, Milton Winegar gave me some pictures and you have some of the same pictures in your Museum. Laurine was born in Salisbury on December 25, 1889. Her dads name is James Conway Doxey and her Mothers name is Elizabeth (Bettie) Williams Doxey. Interesting site. My Bennett & Salsberry ancestors lived in Sullivan & Livingston Counties in Missouri during that time. Some of the family spelled the name as Salisbury but no connection that I know of.

Greetings from St. Louis, home of the 1904 World's Fair. I saw some entries re: Abeln, Kressig & Brueggen families. My parents are Henry John & Anna Elizabeth (Guilford)Abeln, both deceased. Dad's siblings were Marvin, Leonard, Edward, Walter, Agnes and Christine. Dad's parents were Henry Bernard & Emma (Kressig)Abeln. Why don't you guys have your own newspaper website, and then have each of the schools have their own sites. or when you show the page of the schools you can make it where you click on the picture of the school and it can take you to the school's website. it could be really neat like the panthers could have their own website where they update games and school activities and lunch menus and stuff like that. hmm........ i think that would be cool.

Somehow I came across the web site for Salisbury and called my husband, Leo. He was raised in Salisbury. His mother and father were Joseph and Theresa Rascher. We lived in Salisbury for about five years. We now in N.J. but Leo's sister still lives in Salisbury. I've been doing genealogy for about twenty-five years. All our lines in the states are completed and also in Germany for the Rascher. I've gotten my family back to 808A.D.the Roman Empire. I lived in Salisbury many years ago, and graduated from Salisbury High School in 1937. I married my high school sweetheart, Lloyd Hawkins, in 1941. I now spend 6 months each year in Kansas and 6 months in Ariz ona. Any 1937 SHS graduates out there?
