Fisher's of Men
Matthew 4: 18-20

Tonite we met at Sterline Price Lake and learned that God is with us in nature. We had a great time fishing. (It was a first time for some of us.) The Boy Scouts joined us for the evening and helped anyone in need while fishing.

We all took time to stop and listen to God's creation followed with a discussion about how God is present in all outdoors. Special songs, a hamburger supper and campfire, complete with s'mores, were enjoyed by everyone. (We even experienced the need to share our meal with others when part of the meals burned.) Everyone enjoyed making and eating the s'mores - some for the first time.

Don't forget to take time to stop and listen to what God has created. It's beautiful!

We hope to have some pictures from the evening soon.

Scripture

From Matthew 4: 18-20

As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea -- for they were fishermen. And he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fish for people." Immediately they left their nets and followed him.
