To the United States Service Men and Women

It is with sincere hearts that we express our gratitude to you for the service and sacrifice you are making for our country.  We are proud of you and we pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you safe.  We also pray that you will be able to return home as soon as possible.

The above picture was taken at the First Baptist Church of Salisbury on Wednesday, April 20th.  The Ministerial Alliance sponsored a Community Wide National Day of Prayer service. People from the various churches in Salisbury gathered to pray and worship the Lord.  We had a special time of recognition for those serving in the military and their families. On Thursday morning, the 1st of May, 13 people gathered at City Hall to pray for our nation and its leaders.  We also prayed for you by name.

While we know that it is not without our power to bring peace to the world, we hope that in this small way we have brought encouragement to you.  You mean so very much to our country and us. May God bless you and may He continue to bless America.

In Christ's love,
The Churches of the East Chariton County Ministerial Alliance
